Apostle S. Smith is founder and Senior Pastor of Refreshing Waters Christian Ministries, Inc. She began ministry in 1977. As an evangelist and preacher of the Word of God, her practical and inspiring approach motivates her listeners to grow in faith and encounter a deeper walk with the Lord. 

 

Apostle Smith has had significant training in Ministry. She is an Ordained, Licensed Minister and Pastor and has successfully served as a Pastoral Care Director, Elder, Teacher, Head Minister, Board of Director, Children Min. Director, Youth Leader and more. Prior to entering full-time ministry she was a Behavioral Specialist and Home Health Care Manager overseeing a team of employees that consisted of medical professionals; She was a Manager of a 24-hour Runaway Shelter for Troubled Teenage Runaways. She also served her community for 22 yrs. in the State of Florida & Georgia courts as a Guardian Ad Litem /Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) a child advocate for abused and neglected children and even worked in the Georgia School system. Because of her ability as a leader and preacher she is often called upon to minister in most parts of the U.S.  She has been a long standing member of A.A.C.C. (American Association of Christian Counselors).  She received her education through Light University.  She is a Certified Stress & Trauma Counselor, Crisis Counselor, Pastoral Care Counselor and Pre-Marital Counselor. Her most recent accomplishment is that she is a Certified Christian Stress & Trauma/Life Coach, Marriage Mentor and Mental Health Coach. Apostle Smith believes that God has given us hidden treasures and that He wants to bring them out of us for His glory.

Apostle Smith has a vision for equipping believers, excellence in ministry and making disciples. She believes that believers in Jesus Christ can reach their God given purpose and destiny. Her primary purpose is to do her part to preach and prophesy the Word of God bringing many into a relationship with Christ, refresh lives and inspire them to walk as believers and take dominion in the earth as kings and priests to the glory of God and for the Kingdom of God.  God’s mandate on her life is to equip His church to rise in the power of the Spirit of Christ and disciple "Sent Ones". In 2018, She was ordained in the office of an Apostle.  She presently serves under the Chief Apostle, Jesus Christ and as Apostle/Overseer of the Ministry.

 

Apostle Smith was devoted and dedicated to her Husband for 36 yrs. and have 5 children.
